Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon and Fertility Services

Dr Gian Urbani has been an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2001. He  trained at the University of the Free State, South Africa. He then relocated to Western Canada as a consultant at a large secondary hospital where he was involved in general O&G practice. Here he developed broad skills dealing with a range of gynaecological issues.

Since relocating to the Joondalup Health Campus in 2011, Dr Urbani has been working as consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He has a keen interest and skill in minimal access gynaecological surgery and has linked this skill set with further study in the field of reproductive medicine(Infertility). In 2013 he completed his Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.

He has been actively delivering fertility services in association with Fertility North but does not offer private obstetric services.  He enjoys being part of the joint surgical team offering advanced endometriosis and pelvic surgery at Joondalup Health Campus.
