WA GynaeScope was accredited as a Centre of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology (COEMIG) between 2015-2021. We specialize in keyhole surgery to treat a number of gynaecological and fertility problems.
We were founded in 2013 with the aim of providing excellent care to patients with gynaecological needs and promoting minimally invasive (keyhole) gynaecological surgery.
Minimal-access or minimally invasive gynaecological surgery involves operating through much smaller incisions, resulting in less pain and a faster recovery time for patients.
Although surgery may be part of the treatment plan we make an effort to thoroughly assess the whole situation and then decide on a course of action directed towards our patients’ goals.
Dr. Gian Urbani was designated as Master Surgeon in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology by the SRC in 2018.
